Honestly, these days I don’t listen to a lot of music when traveling. We usually listen to audiobooks or maybe a RadioLab or the like. Right now, we’re actually listening to Kidnapped by Robert Lewis Stevenson. Does that read as lame as it was to type? Got my pocket protector fastened to my seatbelt.

Anyway, today’s post is for your traveling musical needs, including collections from friends on Twitter and Facebook, since I’m obviously not a good source of road music anymore. My own tastes run to Phil Keaggy (True Believers and Sundays Child are great for driving) to They Might Be Giants. We’ve also been known to listen to folk songs because we embrace our nerdiness with both arms and then dance a jig.
