Terrible Tuesday: A relapse

A couple of weeks ago, I announced an end to our hideously Terrible Tuesdays as we dropped a speech therapy session and Sprite’s softball. This week we have to have speech today because of a field trip on Thursday. So while it’s not hideous, it’s still a pretty darn ugly Tuesday.  Tuesdays are the days I dream of becoming being marooned on an island somewhere with no roads and no appointments allowed.

Daydream links!

This week’s Spaced-Out Challenge is all about Comet ISON, which is visible via small telescopes and binoculars. The post is optimistically entitled, “You WILL see ISON.” Except it was too cloudy when we got up this morning and will be cloudy again tomorrow morning. So unless your sunny Texas home all the sudden starts acting like Seattle, you can see ISON. Let me know if it works out for you.

Prepare your hankies for A Sailor’s Dying Wish.

Eight-pound baby born at 9:10 on 11/12/13 is the son of a math teacher. Of course, he is.

After accidentally printing 7 pages of comments and a one-page article, a friend on twitter directed me to Print Friendly. Because it’s 2013 and some websites still aren’t optimized for printing. (Because I needed a hard copy, that’s why.)

Doggies are wonderful. And hilarious. And awwwwsome.

Top ten weirdest sharks ever.

I want a miniature lemon tree and a miniature lime tree. I thought you should know.

Tumblr is a strange place. But out of the weirdness comes. . . okay, this is still weird, but wonderful, too. Bass Dogs: Bass players photoshopped holding dogs.  Wow, this is a very dog-heavy post.

I think all movie trailers should be like this.

The link to miniature lime and lemon tree didn’t work and that sounds like a wonderful idea for my dad for Christmas.

Sorry about that. Fixed! That’s about growing citrus in North Texas. Not sure how it would work in warmer climes, unless you brought it indoors and had a sunny window.
